Spring was a delight and bud-burst progressed nicely. The weather over flowering and fruit-set was settled and allowed for a fair but balanced crop. The summer period was beautiful with little rain, and warm days and nights. There was a spell of light rain before harvest to aid complete physiological ripeness at harvest.
