Wine and dine at our award-winning restaurant, The Shed.

Welcome to our very own take on rural wine shed dining, nestled in the very vines that produce our award-winning reds, overlooking the Onetangi Valley. Our team work a special kind of magic, drawing on fresh produce from our ever-expanding gardens to produce honest-to-goodness, gutsy and thoroughly modern food, packed full of flavour. We grow ingredients onsite and like to shop locally. Either seated inside or outside enjoying the sunshine, you will enjoy our uniquely relaxed, modern-rustic atmosphere.

Our ever changing seasonal menu is shaped by what’s fresh in our garden, and what’s available from other incredible, ethical, sustainable producers on Waiheke, and throughout New Zealand.

Saturdays from 11am
Lunch: Thursday to Monday from 12pm

Dinner: During winter we open in the evening for events. A la carte dinners return in the spring.

WINTER EVENTS:

A Saturday night B.Y.O

One night only it’s B.Y.O. at the Shed. A rare opportunity to pull a special bottle from the cellar and enjoy in good company (without playing host).

Chef Banda and the team are working up an extra special winter menu to pair with the the best bottles of wine from your cellar.

Old wines, fresh truffles.
Black truffle season only comes once a year, and their earthy otherworldly aromatics demand fine wines with age and character. So it’s time to go all out, dip into the depths the cellar for one special night of decadence.
Showcasing fresh Black Périgord Truffles fresh in from Riwaka, and our own treasures from the family cellar. Chef Banda and the team have prepared four courses of truffle infused delights.

For groups of 8 people and more, we serve our a Chef’s selection menu, incorporating the best of our seasonal à la carte offering, and designed to be shared mid-table “family style” ensuring everyone in your group will sample a variety of dishes.
