Te Motu ’95 evinces the unique qualities which have distinguished the terroir of Onetangi Valley, Waiheke Island: richness of colour and body, depth and intensity of varietal Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot flavours, all enhanced with bottle age.

After a good fruit-set and favourable early conditions, persistent light rain set in from veraison through to harvest. With continuous and extensive bunch thinning and canopy management approximately one-third of the crop was sustained through to a late harvest of large but fully ripe berries.
