Add depth and complexity to your cellar with this special vertical pack spanning 12 years over three complex Waiheke vintages.
The ultra premium flagship of our Waiheke Island vineyard, Te Motu is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend with Merlot and Franc, hand harvested from low-yielding vines.
Vintage 2012
An exceptional yet low yielding vintage. Early and excellent flowering and fruit set was followed by cool conditions over December. This was followed by a long, warm, Indian summer, enabling the fruit to hang out on the vine producing unusually powerful flavour development for an elegantly lean body.

5 Stars Michael Cooper
Vintage 2009
A mild to hot summer – described by John and other winemakers on the island as a typical Bordeaux type season. Was slow to show it’s true colours, but has evolved into a beautifully complex and rewarding wine.
4.5 Stars Raymond Chan
Vintage 2004
Early and excellent flowering and fruit set was followed by cool conditions over a long ripening season producing unusually powerful flavour development for an elegantly lean body and balanced acidity.
