“Quite a captivating bouquet with aromas of plums and blackberry, tobacco, dried herb and baking spices. There’s a primary complexity and charm. On the palate – a medium+ weighted wine with a firm texture from tannins and acidity then contrasted by a core of fruit and flavours of tobacco and herb that reflect the bouquet. Well made and still showing youthful energy – so best enjoyed with food, I suggest cheese. Decant for service with best drinking from today through 2026.” – Cameron Douglas MS
