THE SHED.
Welcome to our very own take on rural wine shed dining, nestled in the very vines that produce our award-winning reds, overlooking the Onetangi Valley. Our team work a special kind of magic, drawing on fresh produce from our ever-expanding gardens to produce honest-to-goodness, gutsy and thoroughly modern food, packed full of flavour. We grow ingredients onsite and like to shop locally. Either seated inside or outside enjoying the sunshine, you will enjoy our uniquely relaxed, modern-rustic atmosphere.
Our ever changing seasonal menu is shaped by what’s fresh in our garden, and what’s available from other incredible, ethical, sustainable producers on Waiheke, and throughout New Zealand.

Summer opening hours
Friday through to Monday: open from 12pm for full a la carte lunch, wine tastings, drinks & snacks.
Wednesdays & Thursdays open from 12pm for light lunch, wine tastings, drinks & snacks.
Dinner: Friday & Saturday nights return through summer.

Christmas season dates
Te Motu will be closed on 24, 25 and 26 December, as well as New Year’s Day and 2 January. We’ll be back from 3 January, reopening with a bang as we kick off the year with our Cellar Sessions summer gig. Wishing everyone a safe and happy festive season.
Group dining
For groups of 8 people and more, we serve our a Chef’s selection menu, incorporating the best of our seasonal à la carte offering, and designed to be shared mid-table “family style” ensuring everyone in your group will sample a variety of dishes.
We can cater to all dietary requirements separately as long as they are confirmed prior to your booking.
