Te Motu Vineyard – Shipping Policy

At Te Motu Vineyard, we take pride in delivering our wines and products safely and efficiently to your door. Please review our shipping policy to understand how we process, pack, and dispatch your orders.
1. Delivery Areas
We currently ship to:
- New Zealand (nationwide)
If your location is not listed at checkout or you are unsure whether we ship to your region, please contact us directly before placing an order.
Our wines are available direct to many international destinations through a shipping partner we use Wine Collect Direct.
2. Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
During peak seasons, promotions, or special releases, processing times may be slightly extended.
Orders placed over weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.

3. Delivery Timeframes
New Zealand
North Island: 1–3 business days - South Island: 2–5 business days
- Rural Areas: May take additional time
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and order size. Occasionally, we may offer free shipping promotions for certain order values or locations.
5. Age Verification on Delivery
In compliance with New Zealand law, wine can only be received by persons 18 years or older. Couriers may request valid photo ID before completing delivery. Orders will not be left unattended if age cannot be verified.
6. Damaged or Lost Shipments
We take care to pack all orders securely, but if your wine or product arrives damaged or broken, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with photos of the damage.
In the rare event that a shipment is lost in transit, we will work with our courier partners to resolve the issue or offer a replacement or refund.
7. Weather Hold
In extreme weather conditions (particularly heat), we may delay shipping to protect wine quality. If this affects your order, we will notify you directly.
8. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor your delivery status.
