Wine and dine at our award-winning restaurant, The Shed.

Welcome to our very own take on rural wine shed dining, nestled in the very vines that produce our award-winning reds, overlooking the Onetangi Valley. Our team work a special kind of magic, drawing on fresh produce from our ever-expanding gardens to produce honest-to-goodness, gutsy and thoroughly modern food, packed full of flavour. We grow ingredients onsite and like to shop locally. Either seated inside or outside enjoying the sunshine, you will enjoy our uniquely relaxed, modern-rustic atmosphere.

Our ever changing seasonal menu is shaped by what’s fresh in our garden, and what’s available from other incredible, ethical, sustainable producers on Waiheke, and throughout New Zealand.

For one night only, Te Motu’s long driveway leads to Trattoria Veneta.
Our beloved Andrea, part-chef, part-gardener takes us on a culinary journey inspired by his hometown in the North of Italy. With a great wine flowing and a set course menu of rustic Italian cuisine this promises to be a night to remember.
A set course menu $70 per person.

Step back into the vibrant 1990s, a pivotal era for the Waiheke wine industry, and join us for an extraordinary wine dinner celebrating the early years of Te Motu. Hosted by founder Paul Dunleavy, this banquet-style evening will take you on a journey through our finest wines, starting from our inaugural 1993 vintage all the way to the turn of the millennium, featuring the iconic 1999 vintage.
