From a Waiheke winery known for its long lived reds, comes a chilled wine for more

immediate enjoyment. Hand-harvested early in the morning while the fruit was still

cool, this blend combines two portions: one of destemmed berries cold-soaked for

5 days, while a second portion undergoes a Beaujolais Nouveau-style carbonic

maceration for 3 weeks as whole bunches. Pressed gently before undergoing a cool

wild fermentation.

The result is an electric expression of Merlot, gorgeously light, fresh, and bursting with

red fruit flavours.

Best served cold & lonely.
